One of our most popular artists Greg is an ARIA winning producer and Musician Oscar shortlisted songwriter. Amongst his bragging rights, Greg has toured with Alice Cooper and written a song for Al Pacino and celebrated a number 1 album in his native Australia.

 

Now living in the South-West, Greg entertains his audiences with an ever growing song list.

An amazing pianist who will entertain you with a wide selection of classics and some banter thrown in!

Comedy night

Friday 12th December

Our ever popular comedy night with Sean Percival as this month's headliner. Sean appears regularly at all the top comedy clubs in the UK. He has ‘headlined’ the Glee Clubs, the Comedy Stores, the Komedias, the Stands, the last Laugh, Funhouse and the JTT Comedy Lofts. He is supported by Nick Hill  who enjoys retirement by  sharing his stories about life, aging, and everyday challenges with new audiences. An award-winning comedian, he's also uniquely performed stand-up at Gloucester Cathedral.

Following the successful Emerging talent competition earlier this year we have the winners; Millicent & Leo playing live, supported by the runner ups; Heidi Ashton and Quin & Michael.

Nicole Perez Bossa nova

Saturday 3rd January

Nicole returns to the Bluebird café for another delightful evening of rich, warm and sensual Bossa Nova with her jazz trio.

 

From Corcovado to Girl from Ipanema, this French chanteuse will take you on a journey through the infamous Bossa Nova wave that took the world by storm in the early 1960s. 

She famously even got Vanessa Feltz to dance to her song on Radio 2

Jordan Lyndsay

Saturday 10th January

Whether it’s his expressive vocals, unique self-taught guitar style, his loop pedal or the sound of it all coming together with the stomp box, there’s something to catch your eyes and ears and make for a truly engaging performance.

He takes influence from the likes of Newton Faulkner, John Mayer, Ben Howard, Dermot Kennedy and other alt/pop singer/songwriters.

Graham Dent Jazz trio

Sun afternoon 22nd February

(2.30-4.30pm)

Graham Dent is a popular jazz pianist whose music combines accessible melodic invention and gently compelling grooves. He is equally at home playing jazz standards, be they swing, latin or ballads, as well as his own compositions. Joining him on this trio gig are two of the best on the Somerset jazz scene, Mark Pembrey on saxophone and Adrian Smith on double bass

Young Martyrs

Saturday 28th February

Forming in 2020 with the release of their self titled debut album, Young Martyrs have become one of the most respected artists on the UK independent music scene. Breaking out initially as a name in alt-country and Americana space, they’ve grown to make a name for themselves across indie and rock audiences. 

In the last few years, the band have played festivals across the UK, including Glastonbury, and performed with the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, The Hooziers and McFly.

Mark Pembrey jazz trio

Mark Pembrey is an incredible sax player, who will play a great set of classic jazz and Bossa nova along-side his good friends and amazing musicians, Richard Llewelyn  (Guitar) and Adrian Smith (Bass)

The Beach'd Buoys

Saturday 6th December

The Beach'd Buoys are a fun shanty group from Weston-Super-Mare. Audiences always enjoy the relaxed style and have fun in their performances, where they encourage everyone to join in the choruses. A few of the guys even featured in the film 'Fishermans Friends'.

A great way to start the build up to Christmas!

Chris Jagger

We are pleased to have Chris Jagger appearing for a special session featuring songs from his many records the first of which was released fifty years ago in 1973. 

He will also bring along a guest to liven up the evening and possibly dip into his autobiography. 

He has had international success with 12 albums to his name.

The Fab Twins

Saturday 17th January

The Fab Twins are a Bristol based acoustic harmony trio (yes you did read that right!) consisting of Stace and Jon on harmony vocals and guitars and Andy on cahon. Apparently there were only two of them when they started up as a Beatles tribute ten years ago! Their repertoire includes lots of classic material from artists that inspired the Fab Four, like The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, as well as some of the many that were inspired by them.

The Twins’ many gigs include regular appearances at Liverpool’s International Beetle week.

Ceili House band

Saturday 24th January

The Ceili House Band are a three-piece band playing a lively mix of traditional Irish/Celtic acoustic music and folky arrangements of popular songs. Always a fun night, guaranteed to get your feet tapping!

Transatlantic indie/folk/country duo, ‘Our Atlantic Roots’, fuse together poetic and beautifully authentic lyrics with incredibly tight harmonies. 

 

With over 3 million streams and hundreds of live shows under their belts, as well as national BBC TV and BBC Radio 2 features, they are an emerging act that are really going places!

Rodney Branigan

The Texas-born troubadour who learned to play in Austin, perform in Los Angeles, craft songs in Nashville, and put it all together in London has played all types of music in all types of venues in his storied career. His adventurous, boundary-breaking guitar playing earning him the title "The Two Guitar Man" has led to performances across America, India, Africa, and Europe. He was personally picked by Sir Michael Eavis to headline the 10,000 people Glasto Extravaganza

Luke Potter

Saturday 21st February

He first broke onto the scene

with 2017’s single “Something More,” on Sony Records, a track that’s had over 18 million Spotify

streams. 

He has since released more music, working with producers who have also worked with Jonas Brothers, Justin Timberlake, Kate Bush amongst others.

Luke is an up and coming musician that we can expect to see on a big stage one day!
