The Scarlet Stone Trio likes to relive the golden age of jazz, with this show paying tribute to songs from the silver screen.

The Ceili House Band

Saturday 30th August

The Ceili House Band are a three-piece band playing a lively mix of traditional Irish/Celtic acoustic music and folky arrangements of popular songs. 

They were so popular on their last visit to the Bluebird.

Highlights have included headline performances at the England v Ireland ODI Cricket, Bristol Harbour Festival, and the International Balloon Fiesta.

Harrisen Larner-Main

Saturday 21st June

Harrisen gained immediate success following getting into the Final stage of The Voice 2019 where he was coached by Ollie Murs.

He has since continued his success with UK tours, playing Glastonbury festival and much more.

His shows are always very popular with the audience so this is one not to be missed!

Henry Sampson piano jazz

 A professional pianist based in Bath, who graduated from Leeds Conservatoire studying jazz. Henry specialises in cocktail/lounge style piano. From the old tunes of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra to more contemporary music of Norah Jones and Diana Krall.o

True Foxes, acclaimed Folk/Americana, cousin-duo from Cornwall, are quickly gaining recognition in the South West and beyond. Indie-folk duo Lara Snowdon & Kat Goldby offer a blend of spine-tingling storytelling and foot-stomping folk that will capture your imagination.

Kat's ethereal violin and Lara's serene vocals create an atmospheric sound that is difficult to forget. Tom Robinson and Clare Balding are both big fans!

Barney Kenny

Having supported Seth Lakeman, Mishra, Mad Dog McRea and many more great names, Barney Kenny is quickly carving out a name for himself as a solo artist across the folk circuits. Having toured the UK solo armed with a 6 string and a Lapsteel slide guitar, Barney Kenny’s music is influenced by world music, blues and rock,style.THis promises to be a great night!!

The Desafinados

Saturday 16th August

“A journey to the sun-drenched sounds of Brazil”

The Desafinados are a Brazilian group of singer/violinist Azhaar Saffar, who made her reputation with regular appearances at London's Jazz Cafe and international festivals such as Montreux, Mai Jazz, Brecon, London and Glastonbury! 

 She went on to form The Desafinados, a guitar led 3-piece group playing classic tunes such as Mais que Nada, Girl from Ipanema, Desafinado, and a few originals too!

Rick Payne Blues

Saturday 23rd August

Rick Payne is an established acoustic blues guitarist with many national and international tours to his credit. Often compared with Ry Cooder, slide guitar maestro Rick Payne’s performances have taken him to prime time TV, to festivals and theatres throughout the UK and on tour to Europe, USA, India, Scandinavia and the Greek Islands. He has provided music to a number of major TV productions and has also featured on  BBC Radio 2.

Sarah Griffiths jazz trio

Sunday 31st August

2.30-4.30pm

Sarah has been singing Jazz and her own songs for 12 years, playing with some of the South West's top musicians. Her background is in theatre and acting; she was in London's West-End in various shows including ‘Move Over Mrs. Markham’ & 'Don't Dress for Dinner' at the Apollo and Duchess theatres. Sarah loves singing those classic jazz tunes we love from the theatre and stage, along-side her good friends and amazing musicians, Richard Jenkins (Keys) and Adrian Smith (Bass)
